Account Deletion & Deactivation

You have the right to deactivate or permanently delete your PRĀṆA U1 account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains both options and how to action them.

Option 1 — Deactivate (Temporary)

Pauses your account. Your Prakriti profile, daily check-ins, practice history, and subscription data are preserved. You can sign back in at any time to reactivate — no data is lost.

Option 2 — Delete (Permanent)

This action is irreversible. Active subscriptions are not automatically refunded — please contact us before deleting if you have a billing query.

How to Delete or Deactivate — In the App

Open PRĀṆA U1 and sign in.

Tap the ☰ menu icon (top right on any screen).

Scroll down to Settings & Info → tap Account · Deactivate / Delete.

Choose Deactivate (temporary) or Delete My Account (permanent). For deletion, type DELETE to confirm.

Can't access the app? Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email us at with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered phone number or email. We will complete the deletion within 30 days per the DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR.

Data Retention After Deletion

Upon confirmed deletion, all personal data is erased within 30 days. Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate statistics (e.g. total app sessions) may be retained for analytics. Billing records may be retained for the legally required period under Indian tax law (typically 8 years).
